She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Lee Jester; her parents, Oliver Guidry and Mary Carriere; and her half-brothers, Charles Guidry and Sam Guidry.
She is survived by: her son Justin Richard (April) of Henderson; her grandchildren, Tori Dauphinet, Triston Richard, Tatum Richard and Trixie Richard; her siblings, Joseph Glenn Carriere of Arnaudville and Cynthia Guidry (Bryan Richard) of Arnaudville; her half-sisters, Kim Bourque (Wayne) of Port Barre and Alice Shea of New Iberia; her niece Amanda Deshotel; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Makayla, Layla, Jace and Jayden; her caregiver Rachel Kaye Wilson (Christopher James Ortego); and also, Dore Rae Wilson and Karson Lane Wilson.
