It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neva Marks of Port Barre, Louisiana, born in Washington, Louisiana, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dewey Marks; her children, Nelson Marks, J. D. Marks and Barbara Marks; and her parents, Marshall Kimble and Lenora Kimble.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Marks (Tammy) of Lakeland, LA and Donna Devalcourt (Ferrell) of Napoleonville, LA; her sister Lenora Robin of Port Barre; and her sister-in-law Mildred Hardy of Port Barre. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
