She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Mallet, Sr.; her parents, Alvarez Sam and Ernestine Sam; her sons, Paul "Pattee" Mallet and Joseph I. "Fatty" Mallet; her grandson Donald "Dee" James, Jr.; her siblings, Preston Sam, Antoine Sam, Benjamin Sam, Mytia Pickney, Ella Mae Andrus, Irene Clark, Beatrice Clark, Mary Stelly and Bernadette Pickney; and her parents-in-law, Medrick and Rose Mallet.
She is survived by: her son Oscar Mallet, Jr. (Cynthia) of Port Barre, LA; her grandchildren, Thomas Mallet of Lake Charles, LA and Bervick Mallet; her daughters, Lucille James (Donald) of Port Barre, LA and Jessica Ware of Beaumont, TX; her daughter-in-law Sylvia Mallet of Port Barre, LA; and her godchildren, Rodney Andrus, Calvin Stelly, Ernest Charles and Berna Faye Pickney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
