He was predeceased by: his parents, Darius Leger, Sr. and Lucille Stelly; and his siblings, Elvin Leger, Sr., Warren Leger, Russell Leger, Sr., Earline L. Courville and Geraldine Leger Moreau.
He is survived by: his wife Janelle Fitzgerald Leger of Port Barre; his children, Michael "Mike" Leger (Velma) of Leonville, Merrick "Sam" D. Leger of Port Barre, Chris A. Leger of Port Barre, Romona Marks (Anthony) of Arnaudville, Bernadine Nezat (Linza) of Port Barre and Sally Richard (Carl) of Port Barre; and his siblings, Darius Leger, Jr. (Virginia) of Gonzales and Marie L. Chautin of Lawtell. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
