He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Ann Mallet of Port Barre, LA; his mother Josephine Mallet of Port Barre, LA; his children, Joseph J. Mallet (Leslie) of Port Barre, LA, Joshua A. Mallet (Katrina) of Lake Charles, LA, Patrona Miles (Brian) of Lebeau, LA and Yolanda Mallet (Cory Simons) of Opelousas, LA; his siblings, Oscar Mallet, Jr. (Cynthia) of Port Barre, LA and Lucille James (Donald) of Port Barre, LA; his godchildren, Khadijah James of Port Barre, LA and Brandon Mallet of Port Barre, LA; and his grandchildren, Joshua Mallet, Jr., Marilyn Cy'Rise Mallet, Nicholas Mallet, Josiah Mallet, Jalen Mallet and Khloe Simmons (Shaundashia "Tuttie"). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
