He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Barron Bergeron; his parents, Eve Bergeron and Elda Stelly Bergeron; his daughter Sarah Doucet Janelle; and his son-in-law Weston Doucet.
He is survived by: his sons, Clifford Bergeron and Clayton Bergeron. He is also survived by 9 brothers and sisters; 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sibille Funeral Home (402 N Saizon St, Port Barre, LA 70577). A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Port Barre (407 Saizan Ave, Port Barre, LA 70577). A committal service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (417 Saizan Ave, Port Barre, LA 70577).
