Taylor of Carencro; his stepbrothers, Joseph Morain of Port Barre, Sidney Morain (Alison) of Lafayette and Bradley Morain (Channon) of Arnaudville; his nieces and nephews, Reece Keys, Ross Keys, Randi Keys, Elizabeth Morain, Brayden Morain, Emerie Morain, Cooper Morain, Andrew Braun and Sawyer Braun; his grandmother Mazie D. Taylor of Port Barre; his brother Charles Lazard (Nyambi); his nieces and nephews, Nyla Lazard and Taytum Lazard; his godparents, Darlene "Chris" and Joseph "Mickey" Richard; his godsons, Ross Keys and Charles Lazard, IV; his mentor Evans "Uncle El" Taylor (Mei Li); and also, JaNae Richard (Marlon), JaMarcus Richard and Jaleel Richard. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
