She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Nezat; her parents, Gilfred Hebert and Earline Hebert; and her siblings, John Earl Hebert, Ervin Joseph Hebert and Victoria Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Joseph Nezat II (Heidi) of Bunkie, Desiree Tardiff (Nicholas) of Port Barre, Dawn Nezat (Kenneth Breaux) of Port Barre and Danette Flores (Raul) of Port Barre; her stepson Gregory Nezat (Angie) of Jacksonville, NC; her sister Norma Jean Hebert Robichaux (Steve) of Breaux Bridge; her grandchildren, Cameryn, Zoe, Gabrielle, Baylee and Tyler; and her great grandchildren, Ryker and Tate. She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sibille Funeral Home (402 N Saizon St, Port Barre, LA 70577). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Port Barre (407 Saizan Ave, Port Barre, LA 70577). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (417 Saizan Ave, Port Barre, LA 70577).
