He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Azalee Carroll; his parents, Lonnie Carroll and Carmon Carroll; and his brothers, Clyde, Emanuel, Lonnie, Jr., Lloyd Carroll and Johnnie Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Tonie Monson Carroll; his sons, Macon Carroll and Austin Carroll; his grandson Kiptyn; his siblings, Eunice Melvin, Barbara Glass (Danny), Linda Connor, Sharon Cope (Frank), Grady Carroll (Kathy) and Robert Carroll (Peggy); and his brothers-in-law, Joe Monson (Janel), Brian Monson (Jan) and Sammy Monson (Rhonda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
