It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Oscar James Bourgoyne (Port Allen, Louisiana), born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Joseph and Cecile Brady Bourgoyne; and his brothers, Victor Bourgoyne (Audrey), Rhodes Bourgoyne (Emily) and Joseph Henry Bourgoyne (Marilyn).

He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Faunce Bourgoyne; his children, Tonia Badran (Napan), Sherrill Bellcase (Brett), Patrick Bourgoyne (Andree) and Terry Bourgoyne (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Miriam Badran, Hana Badran, Christopher Badran, Arden Bellcase, Piper Bellcase, Anna Bourgoyne and Brady Bourgoyne; and his great grandchildren, Kentleigh Badran, Kali Frederick and Kate Frederick.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital.
