She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Smith and Dorothy Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Higgins; and her sisters, Darlene Leonard and Tammie Smith. She is also survived by friends who she considered her family, Larry and Kattye Castille, and Jo Carol and Ritchie Hutson; as well as many other friends.
