We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2019, at the age of 92, Katherine Catanzaro Scalise (Port Allen, Louisiana), born in Sunshine, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Scalise; her parents, Frank Catanzaro and Felicie Bonona Catanzaro; and her siblings, Phillip, Joseph, Tony, Louis Catanzaro, Felicie C. Panepinto, Mary C. Boeta, Lena C. Canella and Jenny C. Valenti.

She is survived by: her children, Basil J. Scalise (Jennifer Love Scalise), Frank Scalise and Alice Scalise Prejean (Larry Prejean); her grandsons, Michael Scalise (Tammy Marionneaux), Eric Prejean, Anthony Scalise (Avia Spencer Scalise) and Jared Scalise; her great grandchildren, Michlynn Scalise Adams (Cole Adams) and Molly Scalise; her great great grandchild Hampton Cole Adams Jr.; her sister-in-law Genevieve Catanzaro; and her grandchildren, Mason Spencer, Cody, Micah, Lawson Tranchino and M. J. Somme.
