The passing of Carl Lester Deshautel of Port Allen, Louisiana, born in Alexandria, Louisiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 22, 2025 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Deshautel and Elizabeth Peart Deshautel; and his brother Gerald James Deshautel. He is survived by: his daughters, Kate Pitre (TJ), Sarah Deshautel (Robert Taylor) and Rylea Deshautel; his grandchildren, Tucker, Parker Pitre, Blaze Deshautel (Emma James) and Kaylyn Taylor; his great grandchild Thomas Deshautel; and his sister Dianne Deshautel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilbert Funeral Home (440 S Alexander Ave, Port Allen, LA 70767).
Memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in the name of Nolan Newman and in memory of Jill Peno.
