It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Ruth Reed Lyons of Port Allen, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 12, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gene J. Lyons; her grandson Stephen Tyler Holloway; her parents, Josephine Reed and Charles Reed; and her sister Diana Barker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Lyons Wheeler Tabor and Dana Lyons Findlay (David); her grandchildren, Ronald Gene Wheeler (Rachelle), Stephanie Holloway and Paige Mayeux; her great grandchildren, Ariyanna Bickham, Charleigh Burton and Christopher Johnson; and her brother Charles Reed, Jr. (Lupe). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and Kidney Foundation, American Heart Association, Diabetes Association and Creole Poodle Rescue.
