He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Relle and Harold Sharp. He is survived by: his spouse Joyce; his stepchildren, Rhonda Cook (Jimmy) and Garland Waites Jr. (Yvette); his sister Brenda Ridgedell; and his nieces, Tara and Sissy.
