He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Graham Coffey; his children, Thomas James Coffey, Jr. (Suzanne), Daniel Joseph Coffey (Ramona), Melanie Elizabeth Coffey (Trampus), Jay Van Coffey and Adam Chandler Coffey (Da'Sha); his grandchildren, Zannah, Rhiannon, Presley, Thomas J, Justin, Olivia (Myranda), Alexis (Logan), Danielle, Tregan and Tatum; his great grandchild Wrenley; and his siblings, Patrick Coffey (Lynn), Johnny Coffey (Chuck), Timothy Coffey (Cindy) and Peggy Bizot (Bobby). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454).
