He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Wood and Patricia Norlin Wood. He is survived by: his wife Ann Kurtz Wood; his children, Stephanie Waguespack (Francis), Pattie Schoen (Lloyd) and Russell Stephen Wood; and his grandchildren, Candace Haydell, Sarah Flinn, Jason Waguespack, Ryan Acosta, Dane Acosta, Jessica Wood and Russell Thomas Wood. He is also survived by his fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bridgeway Hospice, 13702 Coursey Blvd., Suite 5B, Baton Rouge, LA 70817. Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home and the church and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family.
