He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Barsley and Ethel Barsley; and his great-uncles, Emmett Irwin and Kernan Irwin. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Ballard Barsley; his daughter Emily; his sisters, Paula Gatlin and Liz LaPlante (Tim); and his siblings-in-law, Edward Ballard, Sandra Moore (Bob) and Donna Devall (Tony). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
