She was predeceased by: her daughter Katherine Lynette Blount; her parents, Dorothy Louise Taylor and Henry Edward Young, Sr.; her adoptive father Earnest Perrin Taylor; her siblings, Joyce Marie Young Davison and Henry Edward Young, Jr.; and her son-in-law Thomas R. Aime, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Lynn Blount Harvey (Steve Harvey), William Monroe Blount, Jr. and Vanessa Lynn Blount Aime; her grandchildren, Khalid Yaser Darwish, William Marvin Blount, Hannah Renae Fail, Meghan Elizabeth Aime and Abigail MacKenzie Aime; and her sisters, Patricia Ann Lacara and Dorothy Taylor Greene.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2503 Old Baton Rouge Hwy, Hammond, LA 70403). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
