He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sparnecht Sr. and Ethel Mae Owens Sparnecht; his siblings, Bobby Sparnecht and Gayle Penton; and his father-in-law Herman Effler.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Effler Sparnecht; his children, Tracey Ciolino (Joe), David Perrilloux, Becky LoCicero (Jimmy) and Ray Sparnecht III (Julie); his grandchildren, Joseph Nathaniel Bigelow, Joshua Perrilloux, Alex Perrilloux, Kristen Glascock, Kayla LoCicero, Kelsey St. Arnaud, Gabrielle Sparnecht and Kayla Scott; his great grandchildren, Jules Glascock, Isabella DiMacco, Adelina St. Arnaud, Lennie St. Arnaud and Braylon Wade; his siblings, Ronald Sparnecht, Rodney Sparnecht, Kathleen Starkey and Lynda LoCicero; and his mother-in-law Lucille Effler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bethel Church of God (41166 Bethel Church Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
