He is survived by: his wife Ercilia Reeves; his children, Lisa Meaux (Bobby), Herman Edward Reeves and Ray Reeves Jr. (Michele); his siblings, Marjorie Staggs and Stoney Jay Reeves; his grandchildren, Keith, Amanda, Sarah, Garrett, Jessica, Nicholas and Kylie; and his great grandchildren, Cody and Beaux.
