With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Elray Delaney of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in Plaucheville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 23, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Delaney and Florence Delaney (Billodeau); his wife Melba Riché Delaney; his son Michael Delaney; and his siblings, Lurry Paul Delaney, Jadie Marian Delaney and Odelia Mary "Sally" Sampey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Faye Zimmerman (George), Mary Delaney and Diane Delaney; and his grandchildren, Krissy Zimmerman, Amanda Zimmerman Franklin, Sloane Zimmerman, Lauren Zimmerman, Steven Jacob and Brenton Jacob. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
