She was predeceased by: her mother Alice Sherman; her brother Dr. William Sherman; her siblings-in-law, Dr. Greg Doyle and Anne Sherman; her cousins, Pat Murphy and Rob Murphy; and her niece Caroline Crouch.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin "Oop" Paul Neihaus; her bonus-daughter Pamela Neihaus McHale (David); her grandsons, Kai Joseph Neihaus and Nicholas Paul Neihaus; her siblings, Mary Catherine Sherman Doyle, Judy Sherman, Karen Sherman Bates (Donald) and Dr. Charles Kenneth Sherman (Barbara); and also, Henry Paul Neihaus (Angie) and Stephen Michael Neihaus (Aubrey). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; her church family.
In addition to flowers and plants the family asks that donations be made in memory of Patty Neihaus to the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation in Hammond, Louisiana.
