Oleta G. Fischer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2021, at the age of 78, Oleta G. Fischer in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in Gladewater, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. "Dick" Fischer; her daughter Kandee Leavell; her siblings, Lois McDaniel, Burnis McDaniel and Boyd McDaniel; and her brother-in-law Denny Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Devonna Leavell, David Devon Leavell and William Lee Leavell; her stepchildren, Kim Edwards and Richard Land; and her siblings, Patsy Farmer (Rodney), Linda Sue Wheeler (Pete), Betty Jean Tucker and Shirley Frensley (Buddy). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Options, 19362 West Sheldon Road, Hammond, LA 70401. Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service.
