She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Sibley and Viola Sibley of Ponchatoula, LA.; her husband Tommy Shurley; her children, Veronica Lynn Hoyt and Lamar Lavonne Hoyt; and her siblings, Lathan, Carlos, Burlan Sibley and Virginia Sibley.
She is survived by: her sons, John Hoyt (Elizabeth) and Randy Hoyt (Bonni) of Milton, FL; her sisters, Elaine Sibley of Beaumont, TX, Lorelei Sibley of Walker, LA, Martha Jean Kennedy and Debra Robillard of Zachary, LA; and her grandchildren, John Hoyt, Randy Hoyt, Charlie Hoyt (Samantha), Brandy Kolb (Justin), Brandon Hoyt (Jennifer) of Milton, FL and Jessi Stelly of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
