It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Felder Ourso of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Mattie Turnage and Roy Leon Felder; her husband Russell J. Ourso; and her siblings, Morris Felder and Ethel Vicknair.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy Humphryes and Kelly Sullivan; her grandchildren, Carly Humphryes, Brady Humphryes and Reis Franks; and her sister Linda Simon.
