She was predeceased by: her parents, Josef Obrecht and Rosalia Obrecht; her siblings, Tony Obrecht, Josef Obrecht, Mathias Obrecht, Michael Obrecht and Anna Obrecht Schweighardt; and her granddaughter Kristi Lynn Colona.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth S. Colona; and her children, Gerald Colona (Alisa), Robert Colona (Arvina), Darryl Colona (Yvette), Cynthia Colona Schouest (Larry) and Darren Colona (Susan). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
