It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Z. Roussel (Ponchatoula, Louisiana), who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Leon Wempren Sr.; her husband Melvin Zeringue; her grandson Josh; her brothers, Allen Wempren and Leon Wempren Jr. "LJ"; and her mother Georgina Duhe Wempren.
She is survived by: her sons, Carl Wempren Sr. (Bridget), Randy Wempren (Ranell) and Dirk Zeringue Sr. (Rachel); her grandchildren, Carl Jr. "CJ", Johnny, Jenny (Kodie), Jamie, Ashley (Max) and Dirk Jr. "DJ"; and her sisters-in-law, Darlene and Sammie Wempren. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
