She was predeceased by: her parents, Elaine Lindsey and John Lindsey; her siblings, Fred Lee Lindsey and Vera Nell Matherne (Leroy, Essie Pearline); her brother-in-law Harold Stickland; her stepson Marty Coates; and her parent-in-law Albert W. Coates.
She is survived by: her husband Warren L. Coates; her stepson Chad Coates (Gayla Coates); her sisters, Mary Lindsey Strickland and Margie Lindsey Lascaro (Anthony); her siblings-in-law, Barbara Arbie Lindsey, Lolan Coates (Caroline) and Herman Coates; and her brothers, John Lindsey and Tommy Lindsey (Becky). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
