It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Louise Stafford of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Bowman and Rita Luella LeBlanc Bowman; her husband John Stafford; her daughter Melinda Anne Stafford; her grandson Shelby Stafford; and her siblings, Timothy Bowman, Larry Bowman, Bruce Bowman, Lonnie Bowman and Peggy Bowman.

She is survived by: her children, Samuel Stafford (Sheryl), Donald Stafford (Kate), Allison Stafford and Joyce Marie Stafford Gardner; her stepchildren, Vernon Stafford (Sheila), David Stafford and Sonya Schubert; and her siblings, Annette Bowman Samson and Kenneth Bowman. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
