He was predeceased by: his father John S. Bailey; his sister Janie Blouin; and his stepfather James Haltom, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Robbie J. Haltom; his daughters, Vanessa Mitchell of Baton Rouge and Chavon; his mother Nettie Gilliland of Ponchatoula; his siblings, Nita Faye Spencer of Connersville, Carla Campise (Michael) of Hammond and James Haltom, Jr. (Amy) of Holden; and his nephew James Strickland of Hubert. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
