With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jesse Larry Tanner of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in Winnfield, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his son Joseph "Joey" Wayne Pinion; his parents, Carrie Tanner and Mike Tanner; his siblings, Houston Tanner, Gail Tanner, Glenda Turnage, Sandra Tanner and Pam Tanner; and his grandparents, George, Elizabeth Shirley, Frank and Mattie Tanner.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Richardson Tanner; his children, Sherrie Ragan (Jody) and Larry Tanner, Jr. (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ashley Ragan Beauchamp (Aron), Jason Ragan (Stacey), Trevor Ragan (Amanda), Ethan Tanner, Nathan Tanner and Matthew Tanner; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bailyn, Brynn, Kenley, Maddux, Jackson and Landon; and his brothers, Charles Tanner, Terry "Mackie" Tanner (Cindy), Howard "Bojack" Tanner (Marie) and Michael "Pete" Tanner. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
