We bid farewell to Jeanette Thompson Davis of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in Folsom, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 4, 2024 at the age of 93. Jeanette Thompson touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Thompson and Geneva Willie Thompson; her husband Hollis Edward Davis; and her siblings, Guy, Alvin, Virgil, Hezzie, Elzie, Emmett, Huey Thompson and Mavis.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Edward Davis, Timothy Patrick Davis (Carolyn Smith Davis), Beverly Ann Davis Dorvin and Henry Paul Davis; her grandchildren, Patrick Davis (Shannon), Daniel Davis (Kristin), Eddie Dorvin (Lauren), Tommy Dorvin and Sarah Dorvin; and her caregivers, JoAnn Jacob, Kerry Lott-Scimeca, Elaine Davis, Rosetta Weathersby and Rev. Ken Brown. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
