She was predeceased by: her parents, Champion Bardwell and Effie Bergeron Bardwell Myers; her granddaughter Candace Jacobi; her brothers, Ervin, Roy Bardwell and Louis Myers; and also Chris Pembo, Sr..
She is survived by: her spouse Chris Pembo Sr.; her children, Kathryn L. Stephens and Chris Pembo, Jr. (Dawn); her grandsons, Christopher Stephens and Brandon Pembo (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Pembo, Julien Pembo and Caleb Jacobi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
