It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Marie Hoover of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, who passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hoover and Joyce Penn Hoover; her grandparents, Abraham, Stella Penn, Pearley Jones and Wesley Hoover; and her mother-in-law Beverly Pinion.

She is survived by: her siblings, Doyle Hoover (Lisa) and Cindy Hoover Walters (Steve); her significant other Stephen Jenkins; and her nieces and nephews, Nicholas Rushing, Randi Paige Norman (Kobe Roy), Savannah Walters, Shawn Walters, Scott Walters and Zian Ammon Roy.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
