He is survived by: his wife RayLee Menendez Avet; his children, Cindy Avet and Tony Avet (Renee); his stepchildren, Melissa Powell and Leon Powell; and his siblings, Delores Authement (Willard), Louella Zeringue (Cecil), Yvonne Ordoyne (Michael), Elaine Broady (Jess), Ranis Avet (Janice) and Merlin Avet. He is also survived by 3 grandsons; and 1 great-granddaughter.
