She is survived by: her husband John Henry Thompson, Sr.; her children, Paula Ann Effler, Doni Iriece Thompson Miller and Michael Joseph Thompson; her sister LeAnn Whitener; and her stepbrother Gary Ronald McLin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
