With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth M. (Betty Lou) Stewart (Ponchatoula, Louisiana), born in Springfield, Louisiana, who passed away on April 15, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy McCarroll, Sr. and Janie Garvey. She is survived by: her brother Ivy McCarroll, Jr.; her husband Lawrence Stewart; her daughters, Carol Fedele and Patricia Kinchen; her granddaughters, Jodi Kinchen Spiers, Lisa Fedele Grisham and Betty; her sons, Allen Kinchen (Margaret) and Stanley Kinchen (Marian); her son-in-law Jimmy Fedele (Retha); her grandchildren, Lana Trejo (Ruben), Jamie Kinchen (Nikki), Pastor David Fedele (Sarah), Robin Kinchen Cenac (Marc) and Wendy Kinchen Savarino (Tony); her great grandchildren, Brendon Wells, Kaleb Spiers, Jacob Spiers, Mercedes Trejo Smith (Jackson), Braelunn Trejo, Braxxton Trejo, Berkeley Kinchen, Landon Kinchen, Cameron Cushenberry, Phinehas Fedele, Evangeline Fedele, Benjamin Fedele, Sicily Fedele, Silas Fedele and Bette Savarino; and her sister-in-law Lula Mae Pierson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Sadly, due to COVID-19 precautions, we are not able to celebrate her life with all of her family and friends.
