It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Magers of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtly Magers and Julia Magers; his daughter Sonya Smith; his daughter-in-law Belinda Brister; and his granddaughter Casey LaSage.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Magers of Ponchatoula, LA; his children, Clayton Brister, Jr. (Faith), Curt Brister (Sherry) and Theresa Landry; his child-in-law Joey Landry; and his children, Steve Magers and Christine Carmack (Robert). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
