She was predeceased by: her husband William Herschel Lockerby; her brother Marvin Lane Shettles; and her sons, Jerry Allen Carlton and John Lane Carlton. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Lockerby Samson and Jackie Lockerby Ruth; her brother John L. Shettles III; and her grandchildren, Jacqueline Carlton, Brandy Robertson, Joshua Carlton, Ashley Carlton, Jessica Crowell, Allen Carlton, Madison Hunt, Kerrigan Hunt, Lizzie Larimore and Emily Padgett. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
