He is survived by: his wife Violet Ferdinand Haynes; his daughters, Shonett Haynes-Williams (Emanuel Terell Williams), Dr. Christina Haynes and Afton Haynes; his granddaughter Reece; his brother Joseph Jerome Haynes; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Lotten and Rose Ferdinand-Saxon (Joseph Saxon).
