Chester David Kolwe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester David Kolwe of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald B. Kolwe and Elaine Bohning Kolwe; his grandparents, Chester, Winnie Bohning, Oswald and Rose Kolwe; his uncle William Bohning; and his cousin Mary Liz Beaton.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria B. Kolwe; his daughter Aimee Short (Ryan); his grandsons, Levi James Short and Noah David Short; his siblings, Mark Kolwe (Bess), John Kolwe (Miriam) and Kay Kolwe Coon (Frank Janotta); his aunts, Mary Morgan and Margaret Price; and his uncle John Bohning. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
