He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Schliegelmeyer, Sr. and Willie Brown Schliegelmeyer; his brother Paul H. Schliegelmeyer; and his nephew Kevin Deslatte. He is survived by: his sons, David Schliegelmeyer (Susan Nickel) of Ponchatoula and Jason Schliegelmeyer (Jennifer May) of Livingston; his grandchildren, Joshua Schliegelmeyer, Justin Schliegelmeyer, Jamie Schliegelmeyer, Kaylynn Schliegelmeyer, Brooklyn Breaud, Kadon Schliegelmeyer, Breley Breaud, Madison Schliegelmeyer and Rachael Williams; and his siblings, Jimmy Schliegelmeyer, Evon Schliegelmeyer, William Schliegelmeyer (Lulu), Nancy Schliegelmeyer, Catherine Schliegelmeyer, John Jr., Rhonda Schliegelmeyer, Susan Schliegelmeyer, Ronald Wall Sr., Mary Schliegelmeyer and Merlyn Wells (Lynn). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; 16 grand-nieces and nephews.
