He is survived by: his children, Ashley Edwards Bass, Byard "Hawk" Edwards, III and Asa Lambert; and his siblings, Katherine Edwards Vigneron, Beryl Edwards Trawick and Andrew Edwards. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
