She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Wayne Leeper Sr.; her parents, Louis Augustus Reich and Estel Messina Reich; her siblings, Alton Chopin and Audrey Hymel; and her nieces and nephews, Kursti Chambers, Holly Knight, Steven Chambers, Brian Chopin, Glen Sins and George Sins Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Leeper (Laurie), Troy Leeper (Laurie), Jerry Wayne Leeper Jr. (Teresa) and Chad Leeper (Gaynell); her sisters, Merryl Hardenstein and Cathy Reich; her grandchildren, Aaron Leeper (Ashlee), Paige Leeper, Brittney Morris, Kristine Scaling (Micah), Ryan Leeper (Valerie), Shelby Woodbury (Mike), Nicholas Leeper (Mallory), Christopher Leeper (Lexie), Chace Leeper, Kyle Leeper (Savannah), Joseph Ryan Leeper, Jase Leeper, Nataleigh Leeper, Emily Leeper, Rebekah Leeper and Mallorie Leeper; and her great grandchildren, Zeppelin, Henry, Gregory, Abilgail, Annabelle, Phillip, Lila, Riley, Silas, Jaxson and Nolan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home - Ponchatoula (1190 US-51, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
