She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Russell and Bonnie Wascom Russell; her husband Neal Alexander; the father of her children Lloyd E. Joiner; her daughter-in-law Paulette Joiner; her siblings, Billy Russell, J. B. Shelton, Eugene Shelton, Christine Hudson, Bonnie Lee Beyl and Sally Giacone; her sister-in-law Alma Russell; and her close friends, Charles Gideon, Ernestine Vining Hawkins, Texie Rae Prine Young, Beverly and John Alexander.

She is survived by: her children, Floyd Edward Joiner (Carla), William David Joiner, Sr. (Tressa), Bonnie Alice Joiner Daigle (Clayton) and Sidney Paul Alexander (Pat); her grandchildren, Hunter Joiner (Felicia), Candace Ostendorf (Brian), Blake Joiner (Christie), William David Joiner, Jr. (Lauren), Houston Lloyd Joiner, Kayla Dale Kiss (Chris), Brooke Norred (Richard Schuster), Dallas Daigle (Macey Baze), Celeste Branom (Leon), Clay Daigle (Laura Lee), Christopher Daigle (Laura), Colt Joiner (Lacey), Cheyenne Joiner and Michael Stevens (Alfredo); her son Lloyd Wayne Joiner; her grandchildren, Wendy Ann Joiner and Paul Lee; and her nephew Butch Alexander. She is also survived by 38 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
