He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Marchesi Labat; his parents, Yvonne Champagne Labat and Ubert John Labat Sr.; and his siblings, Eulah L. Gregory, Ubert Labat Jr., Raymond Labat Sr., Yvonne L. Dunaway and Newton Labat.
He is survived by: his children, Susan L. Martin (Rick), Kenneth Labat (Lisa), Keith Labat (Kim) and Kevin Labat (Carol); his sister Linda L. Ball (Richard); his grandchildren, Cherie Dinaso (Jim), Joycelyn Montellano (Salvador), Jeanne Burns (Steven), Joshua Labat (Jessica), Jordan Labat (Kayla), Kara Labat, Kodi L. Pisciotta (Logan), April Labat and Andrew Labat; and his stepgrandchildren, Kody Seube and Lauren S. Webb. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
