He was predeceased by: his parents, David Barton and Gracie Barton; his grandson Shane Maxwell; and his son-in-law Wayne Broussard. He is survived by: his siblings, Herschel Travis Barton, Phillip Owen Turner, Voncille Dewitt and Billie Elmore; his wife Elsie Underhill Barton; and his children, LaDonna Wampler (Garland), Lawana Broussard and Dewayne Barton (Debbie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
