He was predeceased by: his parents, Dezeria Durand and Malinda Durand; his wife Peggy Kelley Durand; his son Harold Clayton Durand; and his siblings, Dell Durand, Howard Durand, E. D. Durand, Barney Durand, Grace Leggett, Beatrice Duval, Hazel Garlington and Mela McLain.
He is survived by: his children, Owen Lee Durand, Jr. (Peggy) of Pollock, Chris Anthony Durand of Pollock and JoAnn Durand of Pollock. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
