She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Smith and O. V. Smith; her husband Frank Maxwell Boren, Sr.; her siblings, W. T. Smith, Delton Smith, Willie Mae Woods, Tommie Jean Pope and Bobbie Ruth Williams; and her granddaughter Elisha Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Frank M. Boren, Jr. of Colfax, Eddie W. Boren (Trudy) of Pollock, Belinda A. Boren of Deville, Betty J. Boren of Baton Rouge and Kathy Shields (James) of Marksville; and her siblings, Billy Joe Smith (Norma) of Pollock, Eddie Lee Smith (Robbin) of Ball, Betty Hart (Clyde) of Boyce and Alice K. Kopp (Wayne) of Tioga. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
